PRESENTATION.
On Saturday, 22nd September, 1849, the Pupils in MRS. HARPUR's School, presented the following Address, accompanied by a handsome Rosewood Work Box, to MISS EDMONDSON, as a slight testimony of their regard for her worth and labours amongst them, she being about to leave on the 1st of October next.
ADDRESS--"Presented to MISS EDMONDSON, by the undersigned, as a small token of their regard towards their much esteemed Governess."
   Signed by all the Pupils.
REPLY.--My dear young friends--Words would fail to utter the deep feelings of gratitude due to you, not merely for your very handsome Present and flattering Address, but for the affection manifested by all of you, during mystay in Lurgan.  Such feelings could not fail to call forth efforts on my part, to promote your literary attainments. Now, being about to leave, it gives me peculiar satisfaction that you still remain under the tuition of Mrs. Harpur, who, in connection with the highly accomplished Governess that is to succeed me, is sure to promote your welfare.
  SARAH W. EDMONDSON.
