Clare Journal April 19 1813
We are authorised to state that his Grace the Duke of Richmond, with a laudible
attention to the peace of the country, has at the instance and on the
representation of Patrick Mahon, of Newpark, Esq., laid at his disposal the sum
of 28l. 3s. 8d. to be divided between the five men who assisted in the arrest
and capture of the notorious offender, Thomas Killeen, now in our Jail.
