At Gemiani's Great Room in Dame-Street will be sold by Auction by Mr.
SPRING, on Monday next the 20th May and the following Days, a curious
Collection of Paintings, most of them being the Pictures of the late Marquis
DEL PUERTO, Ambassador from Spain to the States General, which were
purchased at a sale at the Hague, of his Effects and Curiosities, after his
death and sent from thence here. This Collection will be exhibited to view
from Friday the 17th inst. till the Time of Sale (Sunday excepted).
Catalogues to be had at the Room and at Mr. SPRING's in Crow-Street.
N.B. This Collection is submitted to the Taste and Judgement of the Town,
and let that be for or against it, the Company may be assured they shall
meet with no Disappointment for Adjournment-There are some very curious
Figures of fine Dresden China which belonged to the Marquis, that will be in
the Catalogue, to be sold by Auction after the Paintings, and viewed at the
same time with them. Besides the ornamental China, there is an incomparable
fine set of Dresden China for a Tea Table, containing 43 Pieces, the most
curious for the fineness of the Painting ever was seen, being a Present from
the King of Poland to the Marquis which will be disposed of at the Room.
