DEATH OF MARTIN CREAN

     With sincere regret we announce the death of Martin Crean, Esq., City Marshall, which took place on Tuesday evening at his residence, Rathgar. Mr. Crean was much and deservedly respected.

     THE DUBLIN BAKERS - At the Lord Mayor's Court on Wednesday fines were inflicted on a large number of bakers for selling light bread. His Lordship expressed his full determination to enforce the law which requires bread to be sold by weight.
