PROVINCIAL
The sanction has been notified of Lieutenant E. Kelly, Royal Irish Regiment, as Petty Sessions Clerk of Ballyhaunis. Mr. William Patrick Wilson-Lynch, of Belvoir Park, Sixmilebridge, has been appointed a Deputy Lieutenant for the County Clare. The death is reported of Mr. Joseph Graham at Tullyvallen, near Newry. For the past 37 years he had been in receipt of a pension from the Newry Guardians of £12 a year. While engaged with his son in excavating building material in a quarry, on his own farm at Derreen, Athea, Patrick Ahern was killed by portion of the embankment giving way.
